Many sailors have known our ASA sailing school for many years under the name of Yachting Vacations, the premier Southwest Florida sailboat charter company. During the last two years, we have experienced such a large increase in our learn-to-sail programs that we have decided that, effective January 1, 2010, our ASA sailing school would start operating under its new name of Gulfcoast Sailing and Cruising School.

Gulfcoast Sailing and Cruising School has seven ASA certified instructors on staff, who are all U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains or masters. The school will also be using the boats of Yachting Vacations for instruction and Gulfcoast Sailing and Cruising School graduates receive 10% discounts on future charters booked with Yachting Vacations.

Apart from these regular programs offered at our base in Punta Gorda, FL, we also offer coastal passages along the Gulf Coast and the Bahamas as well as flotillas and sailing training in Croatia.
